Shifter in the middle

My bro,  him is more happy than me.

Starting Swap

The first thing i have to do. Was put splitters between the subframe and chassis.

Because the 2jz is more  taller than rotary engine.

Aluminium Splitters 1 1/2 inch high
Me cutting screws

Subframe dismount

Finally, engine mounts was done.
I use landcruiser engine mounts for this swap.

Stuff

The most difficult thing to do , since the beginning, was recollect this parts.
Transmission are expensive, clutch, friction plate, and rear oil sump.

Friction Plate XTD
R154 5 Gears

Stock Flywheel, 6 pucks clutch
2jz rear sump oil pan

Wilson and me Before  to start with this project we made a ground test.....
Obviously... without rebuilding like an rotary engine.

2JZGTE Why?

Powerful. Lots of torque.
320 hp without modification.
400 hp without modification, just boost up. Stock turbo ....

Durable, rugged, inexpensive, ahead of a rotary engine. Of course.

The shell

My car has been the holder of two rotary engines.
The first:13b s4 1987. For several years with this. from stock to programmable.

The second: 13b 1991 only lasted one week. I bought a junker and try Powering when melted.
This frustrated me, because buying an engine without using it, it broke ..
